Golden Hornet & Tetractys commissioned a work for solo viola and electronics entitled "Prayers". This world premiere is a work by composer Alex Molina Shawver, to be performed by frequent Golden Hornet collaborator, Luis Eduardo Bellorín.

This work was Co-Commissioned by Tetractys New Music and Golden Hornet for Here Be Monsters 2024 and made possible by Eugene Sepulveda & Steven Tomlinson.

Here Be Monsters is a two day festival (May 25-26th, 6-11PM) with many groups performing short (20-minute) sets, designed to reveal and celebrate the unique culture and identity of Austin's indie-classical music creators. On May 26th, Golden Hornet will be performing one of the 12 world premieres of the festival!
